It's hard to leave our Spirou alone... Indeed, I really wanted to complete this sublime visual from the cover of volume 67 of the Journal de Spirou album.
Franquin's genius is here : pure curves that follow and match to each other with outstanding accuracy, a lively staging, dynamic expressions and postures...
It was almost enough to let yourself go by all these elements, as well as by the volumes Pascal had already put on Spirou!
It was an exercise as delicate as it was exciting, with the real pleasure of enter again into Franquin's universe through this Fantasio, our hero's faithful companion, in an attitude both perplexed and astonished.
